2000 jgc 4wd problemjust2000jgceds 08-19-2004, 08:57 PM I was wondering if anyone had any basic steps that I could take on trying to figure out how to solve my 4wd problem. I have the quad track 2, which only has 4wd (all time) and 4 low. The 4 low works great however I just noticed that when in the normal driving mode that 4wd system is not sending up power to the front wheels when needed. The other day I was stuck in my back yard. The grass was wet and it was parked on a hill and when I went to take off only the back tires would spin and would not kick in the front like it should. I tested it more and its not sending up any power to the front wheels, only the back. Any thoughts? Myrtle Beach 08-21-2004, 09:10 AM sounds like a transfer case problem- I would try searching the forum for quadra trac II or transfer case problems-Wish I knew more to help- xj31 08-21-2004, 06:36 PM this might sound stupid but make sure there is oil in the t-case.it has an oil pump that applies clutches to give you 4wd and if there is not enough fluid the clutches wont apply just2000jgceds 08-22-2004, 10:42 PM Thanks, Im going to start checking things out a little more in the next few days. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
