A Spit with a 300ZX engine? no way... cookcw2 12-25-2005, 07:02 PM I have to agree, why would anyone mess with a great engine and classic car by putting a Nissan engine in it? I have a friend with an MGB he got from his brother and it came with a Nissan engine. I was thinking it was a bigger engine or something to warrent the change and it ended up a four bagger. He is now looking for an original or maybe the V8 they put in the MGB-GT V8. My view is leave original alone, it is a classic. My MKI is completely original Engine number KC-4797.
