Hi, I am planning to hook a new amp to my car. As I was searching threads about wiring, ppl would tell the stock amp being located inside the left lining of the trunk. So yesterday, I tried to look for the wires, surprisingly, I couldn't find my amp???? Isn't that even I don't have HK, still the car came with a stock amp??? Btw, I own a 04' 330ci, or is it the newer models have the amp somewhere else instead? If it is so, where is the amp mounted? Or if it is that the car didn't come with an amp? I really wish to know, however if it has one, I should bring my car back to the dealership and ask why it is missing.... thx advance for help.

i know that on e36's the amp is on the right side (passenger side) of the trunk. i would assume it is the same for your car. maybe you are just looking in the wrong place.
