My 2000 Chevy Venture A/C, automatic headlights and console display(temp., mpg, etc...) stopped working. I replaced a fuse and it worked fine agin for a few moments and now every time I replace the fuse, it blows immediatly. I realize that I have a short but wanted to see if someone has had the same problem so that I can go straight to where the short may be. Please advise as it is getting hot in Missouri and I am sweating profusely.
Thanks
Robert

Does your cigarette lighter work on the sme circuit? Gm lighters are famouse for internal shorts and blowing fuses. Since all these items are in the center console, start there and look for any wires that may have worn through their insulation because of laying on the metal underdash support brackets, they have sharp edges.

Thank you for your reply. Yes the cigarette lighter is working.
