Hi;
Has anyone out there used one of these Repair Manuals on CD? Or which is the best Manual for the weekend grease monkey want-to-be?
Thanks Ed

I own two copy's of the Ford Service Manual on CD for 1993-1994. It takes a little bit getting used to but after you get over some of the fustration it becomes easier to use.

Whenever I need to do something to my '94 Sable, I print out the pages that I will need. I have been known to copy the pages I need into MS Word and then eliminate the portions not relating to what I am doing to my sled.

I like doing it this way because I do not have to worry about getting the pages of a manual all greasy.

If you watch E-Bay, you can find a CD manual for a pretty decent price. I think I paid $11 or $12 for the one for my '99 Windstar. Haven't used it much (that's a good thing) and as Larry stated, it takes some getting used to. Maybe I'm just not PC inclined though. Haynes and Chilton are two of the more popular printed manuals and are pretty reasonable price wise.
