Favorable review of the G35Cue-Ball 02-04-2002, 04:33 PM Thought you guys might like to know there's a very good (p)review of the Infiniti G35 on autoweek.com. They basically say it kicks butt. Lots of torque, lots of horsepower, great handling, loads of room, big trunk, great styling. I wholeheartedly agree. Guess i'd better start saving my pennies... http://www.autoweek.com/images_content/2002_01/g351.jpg Mike.Com 02-04-2002, 06:07 PM So the last year of the G20 is 2001? The G35 replaces it right? 2002G20Racer 02-04-2002, 06:20 PM Originally posted by Mike.Com So the last year of the G20 is 2001? The G35 replaces it right? Yupz Nissan_2.0 02-04-2002, 07:33 PM 2002 is the last year for the G20, the G35 is officially a 2003 model, even though it goes on sale in like April---definitely time to be saving pennies, i may be gone for a bit to dive in to my couch cushions....:D kheetar 02-04-2002, 11:57 PM I'm waiting for the G35 Coupe. Unless I'm mistaken, that will be the USDM incarnation of the R35 GT-R. It will probably be at least a couple years before it gets released, but thats cool 'cause that's about the time I'll be graduating(hopefully). "Hey Mom and Dad, how 'bout a Infiniti G35 Coupe for graduation!?" *crossing fingers*:) b-b00gie 02-05-2002, 07:23 AM Originally posted by kheetar I'm waiting for the G35 Coupe. If you check out the Infiniti website it says fall of 2003... maybe delayed for awhile but at most I'd say a year. G-Forces 02-05-2002, 07:36 AM I'm not sure about the G35 Coupe being the GT-R incantation. I think the Coupe will look more like the G35 sedan and be more like the Z and the GT-R will be more distinct looking and rip up the pavement. :D kheetar 02-05-2002, 08:55 AM If you check out the Infiniti website it says fall of 2003... maybe delayed for awhile but at most I'd say a year. In fact, it says "COMING FALL 2002". Wow, sooner than I thought. And I agree with you Jason that it does look more like the Z-car than the GT-R Concept. And who knows how long it will be before the R35 GT-R is released in Japan! So it could be a while until we see the GT-R on U.S. shores, if indeed Nissan opts to sell it over here. However, if the LHD configuration of the GT-R Concept and Nissan's claims of "expanding the tradition globally" are any indication, we damn well better get the GT-R in the States(and Canada, too:D). Nissan doesn't sell the R34 GT-R in Canada, do they, Jason? I'm just visualizing the G35 Coupe sketch rotated 180 degrees and seeing the trademark GT-R tailights. Ah, to dream... EDIT: Lookey what I found! Who knows how reliable the source is, though . Skyline 2-Door (http://mag-x.com/scoop/skyline0112/) Looks like I might get my wish after all!;) G-Forces 02-05-2002, 09:24 AM Originally posted by kheetar Nissan doesn't sell the R34 GT-R in Canada, do they, Jason?
