I have recently got my mother a bmw 1986 (i think) three series 316i and she wants me to put her cd player in there. I took on look at the wiring and screamed... its worse than a plate of spaggetti.

Ive been looking for a list of what colour cables does what and i cant find one. i was wondering if any of you know. if you could help it would be wonderfull

If i know it was gonna cause this much trouble i wouldnt have got it her.... >.< An M3 woulda been better.... but you can imagin this old lady (dont tell her i said that) driving this black convertible down to the shops at 120 mph :D evil

They have fairly decent selection of wiring diagrams if you really need help post on there

The car is pre wired for a CD Chager in the trunk. You can find used ones pretty inexpensivly on ROADFLY.com
