2000 Lt Blazer Power Seat Wont Work

Have a 2000 Blazer and the power seat will not work. The lumbar is still working. We have tried to locate the fuse to this and the book and chart do not specifically name a fuse for the power seat. All fuses appear to be okay. We have checked the wires under the carpet, and have checked the power to the wires at the seat. All appears to be okay. Is there anyone that has solved this problem??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

will it move at all? Or is it binding?

No, it doesn't move at all. No noise.

We have checked all the fuses and they are okay.

Exactly the same problem. Lumbar works, other 2 switches don't. Operators manual does not show fuses for power seats either in dash or under hood but all fuses in both boxes are okay. I've seen one other post on this issue where the owner had the memory feature (I don't) and it was resolved by disconnecting the battery for 1 minute and reconnecting and the relay must have reset and solved the proble. Would like to hear from hamlinhazel, bobmga62, jimb317 and find out how their problem was resolved.

After spending hours trying to fix our power seat problem we took it in to a mechanic. The problem ended up being the connections under the carpet under the back seat. They had to remove the back seat and lift up the carpet and replace the connector that had gotten corroded from road salt, and moisture. Ended up costing us over $100 dollars for the labor of the seat remove, etc. Less than one dollar for the connector part! Good luck. I hope this is helpful. Hamlinhazel

You were lucky cause many of the LTs have the wires short inside the seats where they pass thru and then the entire motor and switch assembly may also short - big $$ - had one do that.
