Water on Drivers side

I am getting water under the carpet on the drivers side. I have pulled the carpet back and the plug is in the floor board but it seems to be coming from up higher. Is there another plug or something to do with the AC? Any suggestions on what to look for would be great. Thanks.

I changed the front E brake cable on my 1998 yesterday and found the pad soaked. Thought it came in through the E brake cable seal. I wasnt worried with the new seal installed. I'll have to check that again.

The A/C housing has a small rubber tube attached on the firewall behind the engine. If this tube is blocked or missing then condensate will run down the inside of the firewall soaking the pads under the carpet. You get at this tube by pulling the right front wheel and reaching up above the steering rack. Get p/n 22697948 costs about $5. GM stopped using this on newer Ventures like my 2001 but believe me you need it!
Best regards,

As I've stated on many posts before, if you have a roof rack, your getting water in through the mounting screws. It follows a channel in the roof to the a-pillar and dumps the water on the drivers side (usually) near where your left foot rests. Take the 8 screws out one at a time and seal them with clear silicone.

I dont have a roof rack (wish I did). I am still getting a bit of water after the new cable install. Pooled right in front of the drivers seat on the left. Im going to pull up the carpet again. Will reply with my findings.
