While driving home Friday my engine quit running. I tried several times to get it to turn over but no luck.

I have checked that the engine is getting fuel.

I have replaced the plugs, wires, cap and coil.

Starter is good, timing belt less than 6 months old, battery is less than 2 months old.

Engine still not turning over.

please help

Is your engine not turning over, or rolling over and not starting?? If it's rolling over, I would check the ignition module and pick up coil in the distributor. ahve teh module tested at an Advance/ Auto-zone. If it passes, then the pick-up coil is the likely cause. The module is easier to remove and have tested, but is more expensive to buy. The pick-up is cheaper, but requires the removal and disassembly of the distributor to replace

The pick up coil is different from the ignition coil. It is a magnetic pole piece in teh distributor that senses the rotor position and is down inside the distributor under the rotor. The module is the electronic piece that triggers the coils to fire and is bolted to the bottom of the distributor housing under the cap. IF you haven't replaced these two parts, one of them is your problem. Also make sure your rotor is turning when you try to start it. If it doesn't, the bushings in the distributor might be shot causing it to disengage itself from the end of the cam and not turn the rotor, whick will result in no start.
