Please Help My 1992 Blazer s10 with a 4.3 litre Vortec engine is causing me problems. After running it for about 1/2 to 1 hour on the highway if i come to a stop it boggs down and wil not accelerate. I need to punch it to get it going again and a strange banging noise comes from what feels like under my feet? After a bit of this when I stop I can smell a burnt rubber clutch type smell yet my Blazer is an auto. I have replaced cap, rotor , fuel pump ,fuel filter you name it it feels like ive done it! Now the Service engine soon light has came on! Please help!

I would scan that code and find out what the computer thinks is wrong, you may want to consult a transmission shop. Some autoparts stores will scan the SES code for free.

Yes, go to autozone and get the codes read for free.

Get the actual code number from them. Not just their bland explanation.

Post it here and we will help.
