how i can disable speed limiter in ford crown victoria 98+ ?

can i do it with ngs scan tools (i haved service card)(my friend mechanical and have this scan tools?

They don't have a "speed limiter", but the top speed is limited, and no you cannot remove it.

Even if you could, you would vertainly destroy the driveline shortly there after.

The limiter can be removed. The ECM needs to be re-flashed in order to do this. I just don't see the point unless you are doing other HP mods.

my friend have ngs scan tools and flashcard with calibration cd date of mars 2004 (03/2004) with all calibration but what is calibration i have to reflash ecm to remove limitter

That is something I do not know. I would wonder if it would be listed in the documentation that came with the tool/programmer that your friend has.

just go to superchip or jet performance, and they have a chip the gives you more power while taking the limiter off. So this way if you want stock settings you can just pull the chip and the computer is back to normal. Now with the scan tool i believe it stores the stock info on the tool. so you need the same scan tool that reprogramed the car to go back to stock settings.

i heared about pcm tuner for edit engine powerhorse and disable speed limitter.

do you have idea about it or you know website adress regarding that?
