I have a 98 Blazer and the passenger side mirror vibrates like crazy. I 'm actually scared the thing is gonna fly off on the freeway. I've taken off the door panel and tried to tighten it up but the three screws were still tight. Anyone know how to keep them from shaking? Thanks.

Did you tighten the screws that attach the mirror to its pivot point?

If yours is an S10 and it has the mickey mouse mirrors, chances are that the base of the mirror mount is cracked or broken. If the mirror ever gets smacked or catches an obstruction the bottom of the mount cracks and the mirror glass will vibrate like crazy. Lift up mirror up carefully and look at the base of the mirror mount near the rubber window moulding on the rear facing side of the mirror, and if its cracked you'll see the crack open up. The mirror housing is ABS plastic and can only be glued with ABS cement. Replacement mirrors through the dealer will run about $160 - I have replaced both sides in the last year on my 96.

Hey you can get power aftermarket ones that look exactly the same for $42 each on ebay. Nonpowered are cheaper. There seems to be no difference in quality
