1995 Grand Cherokee won't start

My 1995 Grand Cherokee won't start. I am not getting any spark, but am getting 12V to the Coil. Engine codes are 11 and 12, which indicates Engine RPM input, and Output Shaft Sensor. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong and where to start? Is there a sensor that typically goes bad in this year? Thanks for you help.

HI, THE CODE 11-- CAMSHAFT SIGNAL OR IGNITION SIGNAL-- NO REFERENCE SIGNAN DETECTED DURING ENGINE CRANKING CODE 12- IS BATTERY HAS BEEN DISCONECTED RECENTLY & SYSTEM IS WORKING POSSIBLE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR IS BAD. DID YOU CHECK FOR SPARK AT BOTH THE COIL WIRE AND THE PLUG WIRES. DALE

I've checked for spark at from the coil, and from the wires with no luck. I also swapped coils with a friend with no luck. I believe the coil is not getting a signal to fire. Would this be the camshaft signal sensor causing this or another problem? Bill

I'm having the same problem and I also had my battery disconnected. What and where is the cam sensor? Could I have damaged it when replacing the water pump?

i stuck the key in the passenger side door, and turned the cylinder, and it disabled the security system. then the truck started just fine
