Thumping sound from back....

most of the time when i come to a complete stop i hear a thump noise from the back mostly right wheel but when i drive it ok

sound like there a loose bearing or rod is slipping? any help please

and is it somewhat easy to fix or take it in to a mechanic if so how much i`m a looking at to pay?

could be any number of things,but check the rear subframe bush where it meets the floor.

i have had the same problem. Dealer here really does not know what it is :banghead: I Think it is a subframe bushing expensive to fix for now i live with it. only time i will do anything if it becomes worse or rear end fall off :eek7: :iceslolan

Have you made sure your spare tire, jack, etc. are all secure? I had a similar problem and it was only the jack moving around when I would stop. This might have nothing to do with your problem but it will only take a few min. to check and wont cost you anything.

It could be the rear strut top bushing. Mine was worn out and had to have them replaced. It isn't hard to do but does require removing the strut.
