I have a 1986 Caprice and it currently has manual windows, and i would like to find the door panels and power window and door locks from a similar year, and put them in my car, would the labor be alot, and how easy of a job would it be, and what do i need? Thanks Josh

Josh,

Personally I have thought about doing this myself. But rather than getting all of the factory trimings, I thought I would go the hotrod route. Go find yourself a Custom Rodder or Rod and Custom magazine. Inside you will find ads for power window conversion kits. Some of them have the switches set up to use the actual window cranks that you all ready have. Lift the crank 15* or so and the window goes up. Push down 15* or so and the window goes down.
