changing break pad's on a 95 passat wagon

Could anyone tell me how difficult it is to change just the pad's on a 95 passat wagon 2.something v6.I appreciate the input thanks guy's.I've got allot of questions but i don't want to max you guy's out on my first post. Thank You Mike

Front or rear? Front's are pretty simple, rears require a special tool to retract the caliper piston. I'd advise you at least have the rotors machined if not replaced.

Boschmann i've got another question;the special tool i need for the back brakes;do you think i could rent it someware and do you have any idea how much to buy it? I was hoping the trusty old c-clamp would work.Are the rear caliper's different than the front's.Thank's again Mike

try autozone...they rent lots of tools

I've put Brembo disks with Pagid pads on my TDI and it breaks wonderfully.

Cost me 450 CAD total.

Not bad for brand names. :iceslolan
