speaker boxwesw02 08-03-2004, 02:13 AM i got a 2000 grand am 3.4l, i have a cheap sealed speaker box until i can get some free time to custom my trunk out of fiberglass, but the cheap light weight box i have now is sliding around in the trunk every time a take a sharp turn, any ideas on how to keep it from moving around (short of screwing it to the bed of the trunk) ??? Pvt_Murphy 08-03-2004, 03:38 AM what you can do is put it against the back seats and install a cargo bar on the other side of it wedging it between the two. I myself drilled into my wheel wells (very easy, very thin) to install bolt on eye loops so i could use a cam tie down or a ratchet tie down to secure my toolbox, gas can and lug iron. can post picks and instructins if u'd like damrmnmama 08-04-2004, 11:42 AM hey i made a lightwieght box for mine also. i suggest that you make another cheap one and custom fit it between your wheel wells. mine has never given me trouble. also if you can help me with my ? that would be grateful. oh yes if your not showing off the box you can actually use a bugee cord because you do not want to be drilling holes in your car. wesw02 08-04-2004, 10:20 PM pvt_murphy: i think i might have to drill mine because my amp is mounted on the back of my seats, and i really couldn't wedge it against my amp, any other suggestions grandgt 08-11-2004, 11:09 PM u can use small l brackets on 4 corners vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
