Have 1988 Buick Regal that stalls out driving it down the road. It stays started while idiling. We have replaced the coil paks, iginition module, iac meter, tps sensor, crank sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, mass air sensor. The computer has been swapped out. compressor within 20 psi, fuel pressure 38 at idle. 43 psi at accerleration. will accelerate on first start up and then dies. Also will accerlerate when spraying gas into throttle body. Tested spark plugs with ohm meter and tested ok. The catalytic converter was removed also. I think that about says it all thats been done to the car. Short of blowing it up. LOL I am hoping that someone out there has any suggestions. We were wondering if there is any possiblity of another fuel filter somewhere else on the car. thank you for all your help on this.

You changed the spark plugs, but did you change the wires? You can have excellent plugs, but if the wires are no good, then you'll still have problems.

what kind of stall? describe how the car shuts down. Have you checked for any tripped codes? I would thing the car would keep running with at least 4 good wires....try looking under the hood at night for sparks....

it acts like its not getting gas. If you stomp on the gas then it chokes out. The spark plug wires have been changed.
