i personaly don't own an rx7 but it was one of my choices before buying my z32tt. I recently spoke to a sales man that works for mazda and he said that chances are that by late next year mazda will bring back the rx7 (tt with new body style) do to low sales with the rx8. does any body knows how true this rumor is? and he also said that it would be producing around 300hp.

no one knows... its all just rumors as of now

although I would expect 300hp if they did... I wouldn't expect a twin turbo though... it caused them too many problems on the FD's... I'd think either some renesis type of non-turbo or a single turbo

and ofcourse it would have a new body style.. when has any company ever used the same body style on a new car?

i tihnk it'll be bs because they have the rx8 now, but at the same time usually a sales man would be pushing you to buy the rx8, other words he owuldn't say that it may be coming, he'd want you to buy now

New 4th gen RX-7 The chances of a new RX-7 appearing this year are low. we are aware that there have been many "spy shots" and sketches that have flown around the Internet 20 times, but none are the read deal. From our conversations with Mazda folks at autoshows earlier this year, the RX-7 won't make a debut until after the RX-8 has made its place in the market
