I have a 97' LT1 Trans Am, who do you guys think makes the better programmer for the LT1 and Why?

A. Hypertech Power Programmer 3

Neither.......

Buy LT1 edit(one vin number will do for you) and make the changes in that. Then you can adjust timing/fuel/etc and make even more power safer then you can with the hypercrap or duperchips

Hi, I think that neither of the two are a good thing. There are programmers you can buy for 300 bucks and you can adjust whatever you want. And some of them even store your factory settings, so when you go to do your emissions you can just punch them back in. Cool eh? Also I would not put a chip in the comp untill some mods are done. Put some gears into it, put whatever you want, cuz I assume you want more power!?! Than you will be appreciative of the chip. Hope this helps.
