Hello All, I could use some advice if anyone cares to give it. I have a 1991 XJ6 and this past winter I didn't have enough gas in the tank and I got fuel line freeze up. After winter I took care of it, filled up the tank etc., but when I tried to start it it wouldn't fire at all. I put new spark plugs in but still no luck. It has a straight 6 and I have no idea how to prime it. With my old cars I could squirt a little starting fluid in the carb and fire it up, but I'm completely lost on how to get this one primed. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful.
Thanks Trin

First try squirting some starting fluid into the air cleaner. If it's not getting fuel, this should make the car start at least temporarily. A fuel injection system is essentially self-priming. If the car is not making spark I would check the crank shaft sensor at the front of the engine. It's probably bad.
