96 accent speaker help?!mackace23 08-01-2004, 11:58 AM I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to remove the rear speakers. I want to take the factory ones out and put in different ones but I can't seem to figure out how to remove them. Is there an easy way to do this? The fronts look easy enough. Any help would be appreciated and would get you a big THANKS~! twospirits 08-02-2004, 11:13 AM Go to Hyundai Webtech (http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/default.asp) Oh the hell with it I did it for you, go here. 1996 Accent Rear speaker removal and install (http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/iindex.asp?id=1083#_1083) hope I was helpful TS out mackace23 08-21-2004, 10:41 AM Thank you very much. I believe its the section where the speakers are held onto. TS out mackace23 08-24-2004, 08:15 PM I can't believe they made it this difficult to take the speakers out!! Very frustrating! Matt.Halfyard 04-13-2006, 12:16 PM ITS NOT DIFFICULT i dont know why people keep refering to a site it is easy there is 4 screws and 2 wires per speaker take off the screws then take out the speaker then put the other one on and screw it in attach the wires and your are done mackace23 11-02-2006, 07:46 PM It's difficult if you have to take out the back seat and backrest to get to the speakers. To get the speakers themselves out, no it's not hard. To get to the speakers is! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
