96 blazer a/c question

Hi Everyone
I have a 96 s10 blazer and I am ready to put a used a/c compressor on it. The compressor is guaranteed for a year and appears to be in great condition. Anyway, the system is evacuated and I am ready to put on the compressor. First, how much compressor oil should I put in the compressor and which port in the compressor should it go in, Second how much r134 should the system take. Should I use the r134 with the oil already mixed in the can or just use straight r134. I have a charging hose and am ready to go for it as soon as I am 100% sure what to do and save myself some money. Thanks in advance, molehole

I would recommend installing the compressor and then taking it to a local AC shop and having them recharge it.

Put in the compressor and it only took an hour and half including recharge. For further reference I put about 6 oz or so of oil in the compressor and about 30oz of r134 and its blowing cold and works great. Hope this helps anyone that will do this in the future. Molehole

You don't need to have an A/c shop recharge it, its not too hard.

Well, if you don't know how much oil your system takes, I would consider that a little dangerous wouldn't you?
