So the time finally came where the 350 in my nova wasnt enough. Today i ordered a GM 454 block and a Eagle crank. I need more money before i can complete it, and im hoping to get a blower as a graduation present at the end of the year. Do you think i will be able to get air under my front tires? How will it perform, and has anyone else done this swap before? Thanks in advance!

Damn, where do you get the money to do all that, lol, thats awsome though. Well I helped one of my dads firends put a blower on, pretty damn, simple, expext for putting on all the pullys and that huge belt, that kinda sucked, but damn that thing roared!

just make sure you run low compression get like some 66cc heads to keep compression low! lower compression more performance

They don't make 66cc heads for a big block. Those are for small blocks. 119cc for big blocks. It will make the power but you will have to get the rear to hook up to pull the front wheels.

Ya, we all know about getting a car to hook up, especially an El Camino. I Remember my first real muscle car was a 68 SS El Camino. Muncie Rock Crusher 4 spd Tranny with 468 Big Block.. Oh those were the days.. People would ask If I wanted to race and I said, Sure.. Lets do it from a roll of about 40 mph.. hahaha.. That bitch chirped into 4th gear at the end of the Quarter Mile track.
Huge cam, and with the brakes being vacuum assisted they wouldn't work unless I clutched it and gave it a couple revs to build up vacuum. Otherwise I couldn't stop.. Looking back I don't think it was wise for me to be driving that thing in high school the way I did. Oh.. Sorry, Just rambling on...
