:disappoinHello my fellow Chevy Drivers.

:grinno:I have a 1996 Chevy Blazer LT 4 door model, (Wife's Truck)
I drive a modest car :smokin:"a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora, color "Cherry Red".

In any case, I noticed the plastic housing that encloses the evaporator that is connect the AC.(That large silver tube sits right in front of it and connected to it). is cracked and a few pieces fell off it open and
exposed.I taped it back shut with (yes) :loser:that American cure all "duct tape".:grinno:

:rolleyes:OK,I can get the part, but how do you change it, will you need to disconnect the metal silver tube to install a new one.

:screwy:Or just keep using duct tape to hold it back in place.:cwm27:

Any input would be helpful.

The plastic housing can be split and removed without removing the dryer, but a real chore to do it. I'd get some JB Weld, cut a section from the replacement housing you have and "weld" it over the old broken one. Should look decent and do the job fine. Can't imagine how it got cracked though.
