I just got my first car it is a 91 camry and i was wondering why i get horrible gas milage my sister says i need a new gas filter is that the problem?

No, probably need a tune-up and/or air filter. If your "Check Engine" light is on, you may have additional problems.

A plugged-up gas filter would most likely cause you to starve for fuel at higher speeds.

the light isnt on it runs fine adn it had a tune up about 2 months ago it just starting sucking gas like a week ago

Describe how it runs both cold & hot....

it starts up fine and i dont know how many mpg i get becasue my thingy it broken
