ok my 98 4 cyl. auto camry le (98,000) gets around 20 miles to the TANK! some city driving and some freeway but when its only freeway my gas milage is fine i dont get it i use chevron reg. gas and i use the chevron fuel injector cleaner about every 1500 miles (it says i could do it every 1000) i have ngk laser platinum plugs and change them around every 10-15,000 miles (ngk 3452 $11.71 each) i have a k&n and clean it around every time it looks dirty i change my spark plug wires often (15,000) i also change my fuel filter every 15,000. the upstream o2 sensor(bosch O.E.) has around 15,000 miles and the down stream (bosch O.E.) has around 25,000 miles i also change my oil every 3-3500 miles (mobil 1) and my air pressure is right (36-40 psi recomended by kumo manuf.) my rims and tires size are 205*40*17 AND THIS IS WHEN I DRIVE LIKE A GRANDMA!!!!!!!!! i live in bakersfield and there is not that many stop lights..... i dont know i guess my camry likes to f****** swallow gas

My best guess is that someone is stealing the gas from your tank with a siphon. Put a locking gas cap on it.

Yea, I agree, Check out your neighbors 1st. next check out your fuel tank to see if it has a hole in it. 3rd sell me the car for $200 cause
you can't afford to drive this car if its only getting 20 miles per tank!!

I live in Bakersfield too. Let me know when you get here, I can hook
you up with some inexpensive gas. You supply the container!

Have your gas gauge checked for accuracy. Maybe the sending unit is shot. Happens!

Buy the locking gas cap first. The gas gauge sending unit should be a problem both city and highway. It is less likely to be the problem.
