I've got an idea, igorChris 05-22-2001, 05:18 PM How about a forum for out beloved SEAT (Salsa, Leon, Ibiza, Cordoba, Toledo, Alhambra, Arosa) and the not-so well known Pegaso (Z102, Z103)(if you make it, I will talk about it, as I really like these unique cars.) Also, I'm not sure if you have these already, but how about Allard (J2X) Also, how about Facel Vega, Gordon Keeble, or a forum for little known brands. Thanks! PS, I got carried away, and didn't check the board for all of these. Adam 05-22-2001, 06:07 PM i don't think that he's too big on small manufacturers, and for a good reason: there's thousands of them enzo@af 05-22-2001, 06:39 PM Yes, you can find places to post about small manufacturers in other places, like Cars in General (miscellaneous, maybe?). Porsche 05-22-2001, 09:56 PM We should, I like the Messerschmidt (SP?) and some of the other funny cars. Adam 05-22-2001, 10:49 PM messerschmidt? I love the BF109G... and Focke-Wulf 190A... but the THEY ARE AIRPLANES... WWII that is.... so they make cars too? Greay aircraft manufacturer... Lizard King 05-23-2001, 02:31 PM Seats are largely re-badged Volkswagons, hardly unique. :D DVSNCYNIKL 05-23-2001, 02:57 PM Originally posted by Lizard King Seats are largely re-badged Volkswagons, hardly unique. :D I was thinking the same thing. Since the Cupra uses a VR6. Hmmm, gotta read more into this. Heep 05-23-2001, 03:01 PM Maybe we should have an "other makes" forum. Chris 05-23-2001, 03:40 PM Yeah, I guess SEAT's are just re-badged volkswagons. But the other makers have rebadged versions of the same car, I'm sure you can think of a couple right away. Yes, a miscellaneous section would work really well, as small companies usually have neat cars. Messerschmitt: THe one I know of is the KR200. It was a bubble car made from 1953-1961. It had 3 wheels(2 in front), a rear-mounted (a la porsche) 191cc twostroke single cylinder engine, with about 10hp. It could go 50mph. It had a 4 speed manual. Weight:550lbs, independent suspension all around (ohhh, how advanced). They made 50000 of them. In german, the KR meant Kabinenroller, which means sedan scooter. And the Focke-Wulf wasn't a messerschmidt, it was a Focke-Wulf (ironic, isn't it) And the 190A used a 1700hp BMW 14 cylinder radial engine. The 109E used a 1100 hp Daimler-benz V12. All fairly good ideas, now can igor make it happen? Chris 05-23-2001, 03:44 PM Adam 05-23-2001, 06:34 PM i know Focke-Wulf is different :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
