You better hope there is. What year? What engine?

I have a 97....the fuel pump and filter are in the gas tank.

Check underneath on the frame just in front of the back axle for the filter.

it is inside your gas tank, it is part of your fuel pump assembly.

There is an external fuel filter.
Don't bother changing it unless you suspect water in the tank.

There is an internal filter as well.
It is a plastic mesh on the fuel pump pickup.

I have taken fuel filters apart for years and have never found any debris of any kind.
I have concluded that changing the fuel filter is a marketing ploy and not sound maintenance practice.

Believe me I am a maintenance fanatic.
The fuel filter has been dropped from my regular maintenance routine unless the system is breached or some problem makes the filter filament suspect.

Sorry bout that I was referring to DROMEGA he said it was a 97 (which is located in the fuel tank, it is part of the fue pump assembly). on most earlier models (93-96) it is an inline fuel rail which is outside the tank, and located near the rear axle mounted to the frame. there it 2 little tabs on each line, just squeeze them and pull the lines off. easy way to check the fuel filter is to blow in it, if u feel alot of resistance then replace it but if it flows thru pretty good then it is fine.
