newbieudelblue 07-22-2004, 09:06 AM months ago i talked to someone with an rx7 and i have not gotten the damn idea of buying one out of my mind. so recently i got a new job which i can afford toys etc. so i am planning of buying a decently kept rx. he is my question how reliable are they? i have an integra now and it is extremely reliable. everyone who i spoke with (most of which dont know their ass from their elbow) about mazdas. so i want to hear it from you guys. SOIA 07-22-2004, 09:09 AM FB, FC, or FD? udelblue 07-22-2004, 09:14 AM which do you recommend? udelblue 07-22-2004, 09:15 AM btw i have to say DAMN they are HOT@SS cars. SOIA 07-22-2004, 09:16 AM If you want reliability go for an NA FC, than down the scale of reliablity is the TII FC and at the bottom you will find the FD udelblue 07-22-2004, 09:17 AM what is fc tiifc and fd ? SOIA 07-22-2004, 09:27 AM http://www.stolemyinter.net/uploads/IMG_1715.jpg FD = 93+ http://www.rx7club.com/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&type=im&id=240 FC TII http://www.rx7club.com/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&type=im&id=278http://www.rx7club.com/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&type=im&id=277 NA FC FC= 86-91 http://www.stolemyinter.net/uploads/dailydriver.jpg FB=79?-85 RevvRX-7 07-22-2004, 10:19 AM I say go with FC. The n/a in particular since its more reliable and it lasts much longer than the turbos. If well kept you can keep it alive for over 200k. HighwayRacer 07-22-2004, 02:36 PM N/A FC, they look sexy, they are cheap, and they will last forever If you want fast and fun (and you have the money) get an FD ShortyDTP 07-22-2004, 03:01 PM Yes has to go with with a N/A FC!! Soyo 07-22-2004, 04:21 PM NA FC's are what you want, they will be just about as reliable as your integra, but will probably require a bit more maintenance... just depends on how well the previous owner took care of it SOIA 07-22-2004, 08:08 PM hmm me pictures broken RevvRX-7 07-22-2004, 10:19 PM and those were the FC pics too. NOO! Soyo 07-23-2004, 12:14 AM the FD and FB pictures are working for me now and ween't earlier but the FC pics are all red x's SOIA 07-23-2004, 04:06 AM k all better now Gibbsy_au 07-23-2004, 08:06 AM Fudge that...here are the key differences. First gen RX7: While girls do like this car for its unique sleek looks and loud noise, it wont on its own be a chick magnet. To pick up you will have to use your looks, personality, wealth and social status as well as the car you drive to get girls to like you. 2nd Gen RX7: see above. A nice car no doubt, but i have a friend who drives an FD and he gets very little sex. Proving that the car itsself cant quite substitute for the lack of good a good pick up line. 3rd Gen RX7: Cant say for certain, but im guessing anybody who drove this car would instantly become a serious playa. The art of picking up would degenerate to opening your passenger door and then apologetically explaining that you can only legally fit 3 girls into your car at any given time. One for the physically fitter people amongst us. Oh well...its friday night and im outta here. I can hear my first gen calling me. Jarrod. drftk1d 07-23-2004, 10:58 AM ^Comedian.
