Door ajar buzz/beep 24/7!

Okay, so I'm looking through this forum for a few things on how to fix the power mirrors (no sound, no movement) as well as an egr thing (code 32 for the check engine).<--seperate issues.

Well, I wanted to clear the code that was already stored in there from a few days ago on the egr circuit, so I removed the fuses labled for ecm (there were two) and replaced them respectively, one at a time, from the fuse box on the driver side of the dash. I have a 95 Blazer LT 4-door with 76k on the clock. I had checked the code last night (being that it's egr the "check engine light" would come on intermittently, if at all), and only now---after having driven a while this morning (about 15 miles) and now at work--decided to clear the codes at least. I hadn't fixed the egr issue yet, though, I just wanted to clear the codes to see when it would come back.

Well, the moment I replaced the fuse for the ecm (it had only been out for about 5 seconds) the annoying buzz/squeel started going. Naturally, this surprised me as I didn't have the keys in the ignition in the "on" position...the keys weren't even in the ignition at all! So I pressed in the button by the door to simulate a closed door, and the squeeling still went on. I checked all the doors and the rear hatch--all good. I got in the drivers seat and closed the door--high pitched door ajar squeeling still going on. I waited for about 30 seconds to see if it would stop--no can do.

I then turned the car on, and in about 5 seconds the squeeling stopped--with the door ajar! I turned it off, pulled the keys, and the squeeling started back up (even though all doors are closed tight) before I even removed the key out of the ignition.

Now, I haven't done ANYTHING to the system except pull codes last night, but the car wasn't doing this last night, nor this morning, nor this afternoon. In fact, it's worked like normal as always. This all started when I barely pulled and replaced the ecm fuse later in the afternoon.

As a side note, the stored codes were succesfully cleared because I jumped the terminals under the steering wheel again to check (with--yes--the squeeling going on) after replacing the fuse. What could have happened by simply removing and replacing a fuse?? NOTHING ELSE WAS TOUCHED OR MOVED!

I found the fuse (labled "courtesy-20A in my owners manual) and figured this was for the courtesy door ajar sound. When I removed it, the sound stopped. The fuse is good, so I replaced it, and back on the sound went---non stop annoyance! I removed it again and that's where I stand.

Though I can't see any problems with driving this way for life, I'm the kind that doesn't like to apply a "band-aid". I like to go straight to the cause and take care of it immediatly. I'd rather not drive with a fuse removed just to stop the sound. I'd like to know what's causing this and have it taken cared of (preferrably by me with some help ;) ).

Please help if possible. Does ANYBODY have any suggestions for this, or better yet--experience with this issue? I'm not a pro mechanic or anything, but with proper instructions/manuals I can find my way around the innerworkings of a vehicle. Please feel free to either leave a post, pm me, or email me at noahsanchez1@yahoo.com

I eagerly look forward to any help that can be provided. Thanks in advance to all.

By the way, I just read my own post and should clarify. When I say I "replaced" a fuse, I just mean I put the original back in. All fuses showed no sign whatsoever of being bad or blown, but this was just a visual check. I haven't done anything with a testlight or a multimeter.

Thanks again in advance to any and all who offer their help.
