se30 purple - the best colour ever?htfr 01-30-2002, 07:37 PM Hi I've read many of the posts in this forum and it looks as though most of you love the se30 purple colour. Excellent as I've recently ordered my Porsche 996 turbo in this exact colour. I went to the porsche factory in Germany and it was very amusing when I asked them for a Lamborghini colour... I've just sold my 2WD diablo (in se30 purple) and I'm currently looking to purchase a genuine se30. Regards Jason ps. I also dislike Ferrari's a007apl 01-30-2002, 08:11 PM Originally posted by htfr Hi I've read many of the posts in this forum and it looks as though most of you love the se30 purple colour. "lambo lover and ferrari hater":D I'm from Hell,my master is DIABLO;) Tom_S8 03-02-2002, 05:50 PM Se30 in lavender metallic is the best , i wish i could afford it , maybe if i sold all my cars , but how could i drive it daily? In snow , rain? No , that's not possible. For now. But i have nice cars , so it's not so bad. but that doesn't mean that i don't want better though... XOTech 03-05-2002, 12:14 AM htfr, If you still had interest in a 30th Anniversary SE, I was recently informed of a Red car and a purple car for sale. Both are low miles. I am not certain of your location, but the red car is in the U.S. and the purple car is in Europe. a007apl 03-05-2002, 09:56 AM XOTech 03-06-2002, 01:51 AM 007, The car pictured above was at the 1998 Italiano Concours in Monterey, California. In the fact that is rare that is true to some degree. I believe the car was damaged extensively in an accident. It was subsequently repaired using a variety of parts from other cars. The most visual modification being the permanent removal of the roof. The roof was removed and the cut off sections were faired in to appear original. The car has no top at all. The careful eye will note the 30th SE front nose piece, rear wing, and side skirts, the hood that does not have the molded in Lamborghini shield, and the Monterey Edition Wheels that Platinum Motors commissioned for several Diablo SVs for the brand new 1998 Diablo SV. The car was repainted the same color as one of the official 1998 Diablo SV Monterey Edition colors. The VIN id plate was removed from the drivers door and was not replaced after the repaint. I have a partial VIN of the car. It is a 1994 Diablo VT. Of some further interest, the car was fitted with a pair of turbos by Platinum Motors in Orange, California. The work on the car with respect to the removal of the top was quite impressively done. The paint was very nice. a007apl 03-06-2002, 02:18 AM I have another photo of this car arriving in the concorso italiano with its owners, when I to find (for the amount of my material) I post here later. a007apl 03-06-2002, 08:51 AM a007apl 03-06-2002, 09:03 AM a007apl 03-08-2002, 07:30 PM http://lambocarzzz.tripod.com/diablose1.mov Work in "Quick Time Player" a007apl 03-19-2002, 02:27 PM Tom_S8 04-06-2002, 08:24 AM I think the last production numbers are pretty special too... http://www.chrischou.com/meet/serial_01.jpg http://www.chrischou.com/meet/serial_02.jpg |Banchi1O5| 06-17-2002, 01:54 AM its bringin tears to my eyes what beautiful pix i wonder if i could make it a poster? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
