87 Towncar Power windows, A/C, and Keyless Entry

Hello all! I'm a first time poster on AF. I recently bought a Black '87 Signature Series from a friend of mine. Its a great car but has some problems I'd like to address. The first one being the power windows.

The rear windows work fine except one of them goes out intermittently always when its already down and won't roll up for an extended period of time, I connected the motor directly to 12V and it works fine, but the switch does nothing.

The passenger side front window dosent work at all either. It makes a slight little voop like its about to work then does nothing (the voop is only audible when the door panel is off and you're right there) I hook it up to 12V with the same results.

The Drivers side window has stop points which have to be pushed/pulled past in order to continue with the process. It makes a VRRRRRRRRRRR sound very loudly when it hits them.

My A/C works well but blows strangely. When i add gas or stay on the gas, even cruising on the interstate it will stop blowing through the panel vents and use the defrost vent instead. It was also blowing in a large amount of heat which got to be more when I accelerated before I disconnected the heater core.

The other thing is I'd like to install a remote keyless entry system and have it work with the factory alarm. I was thinking if there could be a way to hook to a wire to simulate a code entry on the keypad. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot all!
-Joe

One thing to check is your vaccuum lines..... That is usually what I have found to be wrong when that happens...

Cool, I know the brake booster has one, but I dont know what else does. I know the brake booster itself is not the problem because it broke and I had to disable the power brakes until I can get a new one. (its plugged perfectly with the cut off end of a pen with duct tape all around it.

Your heater controlls all work via vacuum.

With your windows, when I first bought my car, none of the windows worked at all. All I had to do was take off the door panel, remove the window motor and move the window up and down by hand while spraying the window arms with WD40. After I spraying, I put grease in all the pivot points and now they work fine.
