Okay so here it is... the AC works great... but however there is absolutely no heat.

On the unit if you turn the temp all the way to the 80's and put everything on auto the AC comes on and blows cold air when it should be hot...

How do I fix this?? Thanks

JJR I have the same problem that just started. I have a 98 Blzer, heat blow cold air almost as cold as the A/C, we replace the thermostat witch is the cheapest and easiest solution, however it did not work, says that it could take up to 15 miles fo the thermostat to reset, however it did turn on and heat up after that 15 miles, but went to use it today and cold air again! Talk about frustration. I called a car repair place and he said to check the hoses that run to the heater core, if they are getting hot then there is another problem that may be a "flapper" not opening, it they are not getting hot then the problem is in some sort of automatic pumps or something of the sort that open and close the hose going to the heater core so that coolant may get into the heater core. I understood about as much as he was talking about as you do with me explaining it, I am sure. I know that a flapper can be expensive. My mom just replaced one or all something on a 2003 Jeep, was over $1,000. We have not looked at the hoses to see if they get hot yet. But I will let you know if we find any kind of solution. And hopefully someone else will have answer for us on here! :0)
