Please crit...GAMsALeh 07-18-2004, 11:51 AM HighOctaneNOSUser 07-18-2004, 12:03 PM Not bad, but have the hood line a little higher, afterall, it needs to fit an engine... GAMsALeh 07-18-2004, 01:33 PM What do you mean? The hood as in the bonnet? You really think it's too low cuz i can't see it, it may just be me though. Anywho, Thanks for your comment... More comments are welcome :D . :) bonzelite 07-19-2004, 02:20 AM you are british or kiwi or aussie? yes, the bonnet. =hood. boot=trunk. rear pods= diffusers. i forget what headers are called in the UK and aussie/kiwi. the name is on the tip of my tongue. hate that. oh, yes. headers, i think, are called "extractors." anyway. your elipses are rather good eventhough they are shakey -they are aligned in the proper planes of foreshortening for the setup that you have established. but where are the spokes? and the car's body seems too narrow. you are too developmental with this one to say much more. you're not at a point yet to reveal much. commit to more of it and i can really hit you hard with crits. you draw and design well, mate. :) GAMsALeh 07-19-2004, 08:21 AM Yeah Bonz, I'm from the UK  . This is the development of the grill. You like? any ways of improvements say... http://img19.exs.cx/img19/1280/sportscar.jpg :) asaenz 07-19-2004, 09:15 AM Ok, I give up, Bonz always says everything.....just joking. I know you are not finished but practice more on those ellipses. Your lines on the car and the perspective look good to me. Take care al Jeep_Rubicon 07-19-2004, 10:31 AM looks pretty good so far GAMsALeh 07-19-2004, 11:32 AM Thanx for the comments aseans and jeep. Here is a quick render... http://img7.exs.cx/img7/3130/8977.jpg :) SeCrEtMoDdEr 07-19-2004, 12:21 PM looks like an aston martin. bonzelite 07-19-2004, 01:22 PM i like that, mate. but, dooooood, you gotta do the wheels. the elipses are awesome, btw. GAMsALeh 07-19-2004, 03:08 PM Thanks Bonz, yeah i'll get the wheels done, sometime :D . This is a hatchback version... Hope you like... http://pichold.com/tmp/hatchback.jpg Thanx. :) bonzelite 07-19-2004, 03:33 PM gams, i like your work. you are into subtlety. maybe you can help me with photochop. cheers. GAMsALeh 07-19-2004, 03:59 PM Hey Bonz, here is a tutorial you could try. I learned off this, so give it a try... http://carspyshots.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=sketch&action=display&num=1089309372 Hope it helps. Tell me how you get on ;) . :) bonzelite 07-19-2004, 04:12 PM gams, that photochop 'toot looks great. i bookmarked her. thanks much. GAMsALeh 07-20-2004, 06:46 PM No probs ;) . Anywho, this is a 'cleaned-up' version of the first sketch... What do you think? http://img47.exs.cx/img47/8185/SPORTS_CAR.jpg Thanks. :) bonzelite 07-20-2004, 07:00 PM in the 3/4 profile you have here, the passgnr side front indicates that the side of the fasica widens out to a flare just under, and to the side of, the headlamp. when you render this, you need to indicate a drop-shadowy area under the driver side headlamp to indicate this further. do you follow what i am saying? GAMsALeh 07-20-2004, 07:06 PM Yeah, kind of. But it seem so complicated! I hate dropshadows :banghead: . I give it a try anyways and see how it goes  Thanks for pointing that out Bonz  GAMsALeh 07-21-2004, 06:41 PM Which rendering style do you like better... i'll do that shadow thing it in my 'final' render btw, this is just a preview... Anyways, comments... :D http://img40.exs.cx/img40/4074/sportcar.jpg Thanks. :) Ra_15 07-22-2004, 01:25 PM I like that alot better. Looks more realistic than the sharp hard to light reflections of the other one IMO. Change the rims though, the spherical blur doesn't look right. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
