up date on car won't startorlmailman 07-17-2004, 05:48 PM I had the wrong relay the fuel pump relay is getting voltage. the car will start when you dump gas down the throttle body or carb. I get no voltage at the fuel pump plug by the gas tank with the key in the run position. When you crank the car you get 9.3 volts. Any ideas appreciated thanks CD Smalley 07-17-2004, 06:33 PM Isn't there an oil pressure sensor that will uct off the fuel pump if the oil pressure drops below a certain PSI? I know this exists on other GM cars/trucks. Might try to find in here also.... Kooterskkar 07-18-2004, 03:23 AM Yeah I think I remember hearing something like that about my car. There has to be oil pressure before the feul injectors will work. I dunno if thats true or not for other cars. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
