1999 Ram o2 sensor changeglastron 07-13-2004, 03:10 PM Does anybody know the complexity in changing out the 02 sensor on this pickup? Are there any special tools required? Thank you for your input BleedDodge 07-13-2004, 06:18 PM You need like a 7/8 or 15/16 wrench, or even a crescent wrench will do, that's what I used. Put the wrench on the sensor and turn it out. There is a plug on the other end, so unplug it. Put the new one in it's place. It's so easy. BuzLtYr321 07-31-2004, 10:22 AM There are two o2 sensors, about$60 each. I'd replace both at the same time...they aren't that hard to do. Does anyone know where I can find the Coolant Sensor? Sometimes a faulty coolant sensor will send a bad code like O2 sensor and will cause rough idle. THe closed loop system will not close after engine is warm. I have a 99 1500 4x4 with 360 V8 BleedDodge 08-02-2004, 02:47 PM BuzLtyr321, I replied to the PM you sent me. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
