I have a 96 2dr blazer and my passenger side door is loose and rattles when driving down the street. How do I adjust the latch so I can make it shut tight so it wont rattle. Thanks for the help.

There will be a torx (star shaped) hole that will loosen the striker bolt on the body. You can adjust this in so the door closes firmer, or up & down. Remember that the door should protect the body when traveling forward. This means that rear edge of the door should not be further in than the body piece behind it.

Before you do this make sure that the door hinges and bushings do not need to be replaced. With the door open, grab the bottom pull up. If there is play or you hear a noise the bushing may need to be replaced.

Hope it helps.
