What were your 60's on slicks? Hypsi87 07-11-2004, 04:54 AM DAMN! I am liking those cars more and more. Are they impossible to find in good condition with low miles? What were your 60's on slicks? Edit on the bst MPH, 111.94 is with slicks and pump gas, 116.54 is with slicks and race fuel. (118 Torco NOS grade 27 PSI of boost.) No they are very possible to find in VERY good shape. Everyone will tell you that they are too expensive to buy but the money you would spend to get a 5.0 mustang to do what my car does makes up for the up front price by far. My best 60' was a 1.693 I avrage a 1.70something though. Depends on the track. Here is a pic when I was pegglegged and rinning 12.60's on drag raidals and my OOOOLd setup.\ http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/501/87736my_GN.jpg ShortyDTP 07-11-2004, 05:18 AM Edit: bacuse i was drunk. My mods are in my sig . and I took it to the track and i ran 15.6 tha's actualy good for a n/a , and i haven't done no big mods just removing emision stuff, and running staight pipe wich is good on a cuz fc's have a lot of restriction on the stock exaust sys. one of my big mod is gonna be rebuilt and big street port , clutch and flyweel . wich hopefully brings me in high 13 low 14's My goal would be low13 high 12 and still be N/A. so will C. Ssom 07-11-2004, 05:24 AM 1994 Honda Civic LX D15B3, carbuerated, 5 speed manual Mods: -Broken Indicator lense -Damaged front bumper -Parking scuff on Left Rear wheel arch -Deep scratch of RR door -Pushed back headlight -Pie crumbs all over seats -Powerade bottles littered throughout interior Quarter mile: Well, ummm....I'd guess anywhere around high 19's. yeah, it's a pile but I'm getting something decent at the end of the year. chevydrummer76 07-11-2004, 03:22 PM on my sig LoW_KeY 07-11-2004, 05:52 PM currently mid to low 12's, hoping for mid 11's after the IC, ported blower and LS1 TB. 2 more objects to go :grinno: IC goes on in a few weeks. Most of the work done to the engine was switching inferior components like the water pump, timing belt tensioner and so on, to make the car more reliable. I've never timed it on a 1/4 mile or run it on a dyno so Ill give you the official specs for the stock car: Standing ¼ mile: 16.7 s, 84mph Max Power 160 bhp (DIN) @ 5600 rpm Max torque 157 lb ft @ 4000 rpm MAXIMUM SPEEDS Gear mph kph rpm Top 132 212 6000 4th 107 172 6400 3rd 81 130 6400 2nd 56 90 6400 1st 31 50 6400 I believe the GTV6 used in the above test was an '83 which means it has higher gear ratio's then my Alfa, therefore my 1/4 mile time should be a little faster. Not exactly a drag car :disappoin bad360rt 07-13-2004, 08:37 AM Best 1/4 mile time is in my sig. Runs 12.3/4's in the heat. Just put in some ported 2.02 heads. Intercooler will be going in over the next couple weeks. Should be good for some nice 11's after that, even in the heat ;) 147GTA 01-02-2006, 05:14 AM I read online that my car does it in 14.6 seconds stock, at 98 mph I think. 2003 Alfa Romeo 147 GTA 3.2 L V6 NA 250 hp 300 Nm torque Mr. Luos 01-02-2006, 11:29 AM 1 1/2 years since the last post...and you felt the need to bring this one back to the top? rice(er) 01-02-2006, 11:41 AM holy! this post IS OLD!!! hahahah....i should go back and read all the posts you guys made, i bet it would sound funny, lol 2000LS1Z28 01-02-2006, 01:43 PM Dang never posted in this thread.
