I have a 2000 intrigue when I take off from a stop I hear fluid running from under the dash. I replaced the thermostat and made sure I worked all the air out of the system because it was getting hot even after I installed the thermostat. This noise was heard well before I had the cooling problem. I am just not sure if this is a common noise with this fine lemon I own.

It sounds like you could have a partially clogged heater core. The Dexcool antifreeze may be breaking down and partially clogging the heater core. What you may be hearing is the cavitation around all the blockages in the heater core. Another possibility would be a small leak. You might be hearing air in the cooling system as a result of this. I would have a leak test performed and go from there.

I have the water running sound in my 2000 Intrigue. I have not had any issues with the thermostat or any problems related to it. I am thinking about having it checked out though when I bring it in for service this week. i will let you know what they say.

I've heard this once or twice too. Anyone find anything out yet?

Water from AC condenser condensation is collecting in your firewall. Remove the "L" shaped plug on the engine/passenger side of the firewall as it may be clogged. Quite a bit of water drained when I did this, but I did not get it all. Any help would be appreciated.
