Hello ALL....

Can you tell me if the a/c compressor turns the whole time when the a/c is on or does it turns and stop every 5 seconds??? I put in a can of freon 1 month ago and it was really cold but now it isn't as cold. What is my problem???

Thanks ALL......

Sounds like a pressure problem, (either too low or too high) or a cycle switch problem, or possibly your clutch is going bad. If the AC is on, the compressor AND the pulley (clutch) should both be turning.

Sounds like a leak to me. These are notorious for leaking Evaporator cores and boy are they fun to replace especially on the V8's :banghead: I would install a dye tracer and check around with a UV light in a day or so and see if anything is leaking. But beware doo not overcharge the system and understand the AC system can phsyically harm you and the atmosphere. Yes even R134A. Make sure you wear safety glasses when handling this stuff.
