i have a 92 carpice i i hate the sluggish transmission has any 1 put a shift kit in theres and had luck with any improvement o yea and i wanna ask a question it is a 700 r4 transmission right that comes with the 305 tbi ????

Sluggish?? You mean it shifts too early? Get a tranny shop to flush it and adjust the tv cable. The engine isnt supposed to run up very high before the tranny shifts. Thats a failry good size engine and running it anywhere above about 3000 rpm will just waste gas. Plus it doesnt need to run up high to make alot of power like them rice rocket honduhs.
