The check engine light will come on followed by the Coolant Temp Fan light. The light is right, the coolant fans are not running. Where do I start looking for the cause of the problem? Note! this car has 140,000 miles but less than 1000 in the last two years.

check the cooling fan module located behind left headlamp asm. old part number was 1041400 but I think it has changed numbers.

You probably have burned out fans. They come out easily, and cost about $150.00 each.
