95 jeep gc a/c low-side service port location

I'm trying to recharge my 1995 grand cherokee air conditioning. The high-side port is not on a hose, (it's on a housing) but it is clearly marked and easy to find, but I can't find the low-side port. The kit I bought said the low-side port should be on the larger diameter a/c hose, but that hose doesn't have any port on it. The housing that has the high-side port also has an additional port, but that port has some wires attached to it. I can unscrew it, but fluid statrs to drip out. There also apears to be a port on the bottom of the housing, but I don't know if I should try to unscrew it and attach the a/c recharge hose or not.

The low side port on my 95 is on the passenger side up against the firewall. It will be a bright aluminum line. Mine has a black cap.

It's a high-side port you are tolking about. Wrong port.

No sir, the port I am referring to is the low pressure port on 1998 and earlier model Grand Cherokees. It is directly behind the coolant resevoir.

Bobby is correct, the low side is a thin metal pipe that runs along the passenger side front and it will have a black cap on the top right by the coolant resevoir, pretty hard to miss. If you stand over the passenger side front fender the pipe will be right under your nose.

On my GC 1993 low pressure port exactly on that place.

Thanks ... Bobby95 was right. I found the low side port right where he said it would be. I recharged the AC with just one can of refrigerant. It's working fine for now.
