Need help on lowering a 2002 g20supac1 05-17-2001, 07:27 PM can i use the springs for 99-2000 or 2001 springs for my 2002? please help:confused: b-b00gie 05-17-2001, 07:57 PM Only if you have the 145HP version... G-Forces 05-17-2001, 08:30 PM I don't think the springs from a 99-01 G20 are any better than the '02 springs. :D :D :D :D :D :D Seriously now. Aftermarket springs and shocks. 99+ G20 are P11's and ALL P11's have the exact same suspension. So to answer your quesion, yes! G22DET 05-18-2001, 02:31 AM I heard that for the speical package for the 2002 G20, because they need to consider the extra weight of the special edition infiniti issue box, they decided to change the whole chasis of the car.....the only way to lower the 2002 G20 is to get the shocks from the S15 Silvia, front springs from the R34 Skyline and rear springs from the Q45....that's what my dealer told me....     sorry, had to get that out....:D :D :D :D b-b00gie 05-18-2001, 06:20 AM hehehehe... ok now.. seriously 99+ springs are all the same... ;) G-Forces 05-18-2001, 09:32 AM Originally posted by G22DET I heard that for the speical package for the 2002 G20, because they need to consider the extra weight of the special edition infiniti issue box, they decided to change the whole chasis of the car.....the only way to lower the 2002 G20 is to get the shocks from the S15 Silvia, front springs from the R34 Skyline and rear springs from the Q45....that's what my dealer told me....     Luke you're a bastard! :D :D :D Nismoboy1 05-18-2001, 10:02 AM Originally posted by G22DET .....the only way to lower the 2002 G20 is to get the shocks from the S15 Silvia, front springs from the R34 Skyline and rear springs from the Q45.... Damn, that would really suck lol :D I think I would just cut my damn springs before I go through all that trouble haha j/k :D no really though, anything they have for a p11 suspension-wise should fit fine ;) good luck supac1 05-23-2001, 07:16 PM no really, Im planning to get 18X7.5 215/40 now what offset should I go for? also how low should I lower it to? is Eibach springs which lowers the car to 1.3' enough? That's exactly the same wheel and tire size as what I have, no rubbing here...I have an offset of +42mm, i think anywhere between +42mm to +48mm offset should be fine... I think 1.3 is a good drop, expecially if you get the 18's, you probably don't wanna go lower than 2"...I plan on getting the Eibach's myself, with the my 18's it should be fine :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
