Anyone know the list of requirements for a car to be street legal in texas?

Um...I'm sure its a damn long list. Specific questions may get you a better answer. As a car can lose street legal capabilities from anything ranging from expired inspection, broken taillight, different emissions standards, noise levels, color and intensity of head(and or other)lights, etc, the list goes on. Do you have any specifics in mind?

If the car is stock and in full working order then it is street legal. As Igovert500 put the list is extremely long, so long in fact that no typical person ever dwells into it. It's basically for the automakers so that they can meet a safety standard like gm and ford cars should have the bumpers match up so that the bumpers are able to serve their purpose.
