me wondering about bying a SkylineSkYliNe_RaCeR34 01-27-2002, 05:22 AM Yo! wassup, hey? I was wondering on buying a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, how much are they to buy, import, convert, etc etc..?? and is it worth spending more to get a V-SpecII?:D Majanal 01-29-2002, 05:43 PM Hey, If you are in NSW and looking to buy a R34 GTR that is in the country then you can expect to pay $90,000 plus for one that is in reasonable (as far as imports go) condition. If you want a V-Spec II then add $30,000 to that figure and you have a starting price. If you buy one through a consultant, someone like J-Spec, then you can save up to $12,000 on one of those cars, but of course you don't get to see the car, drive the car, or get a warrenty. And the wait is a killer! Dan. Mister2_au 02-09-2002, 10:04 PM Actually you could probably do closer to $60-70k for an R34 GT-R, but you can always check out prices for yourself at www.j-spec.com.au Some brokers will give you a money-back guarantee thing on some imports .. if it isn't as described (or sometimes if you just don't like it) you can get your money back less a small fee (ie. proably just the broker's charge) .. a pretty safe way to buy if you only risk $1000 or so in the worst case Webmaster_Zeus 02-12-2002, 11:17 PM A friend's bro does the import himself, quite big too. if your interested I can give u his contact, just pm me. but the problem is he is in melbourne, so yeh its up to u. :) -Joel- 02-16-2002, 10:12 AM Did the $$$ put you off a little buddy? heheh First things first at 18 i think you have buckleys chance of getting insurance let alone the Loan :) Dreaming Has never hurt any one however..
