Great drifring video with bimmers and other carstrev0006 06-30-2004, 04:57 AM Preludeian 07-02-2004, 07:52 PM BMW < Import Cars for drifting That WRX made them all look sad. Z.z.Z.z.Z.z :loser: crayzayjay 07-05-2004, 06:07 AM First of all, wtf are you talking about? Those beemers were drifting great. Secondly, 'import cars' has no meaning on this site. This is an international site, so 'import car' to me means a Pontiac. Comprende? Preludeian 07-06-2004, 05:15 AM Those BMW's were crap, gimme a break And so sorry about the Import thing. I'm used to posting on American exclusive forums. Forgot about this one's international flag. First Post v2.0 Japanese Drifters > BMW Slippers IMHO of course and don't GAFFWYS crayzayjay 07-06-2004, 05:35 AM You must have phenomenally high standards or be a great drifter yourself. That WRX didnt exactly stand out so i cant agree with you xyfalconsrock 07-06-2004, 06:55 AM i'm with crayzayjay the WRX just took the corner normally coz it was AWD This site is international lOOk im from australia,WOW!diversity!:rofl::rofl: Preludeian 07-06-2004, 03:44 PM ^^^ the sig says it all man, LOL! flylwsi 07-09-2004, 02:28 PM Those BMW's were crap, gimme a break And so sorry about the Import thing. I'm used to posting on American exclusive forums. Forgot about this one's international flag. First Post v2.0 Japanese Drifters > BMW Slippers IMHO of course and don't GAFFWYS i assume that means "give a fuck for what you say"... great attitude. and your sn is preludeian, so i doubt that you own a FR car anyways... drifting is not about the car. it's about the driver. you can make a shit box drift. i've seen enough of these videos of all kinds of cars drifting, and you can drift a bmw, as these guys are (and doing it well), just as well as your japanese drifters. that's why samuel hubinette is kicking ass in a viper. rhys millen is great in a new gto. that guy in the el camino in texas that was awesome, and it was an AUTO! so get off the "drifting is japanese, no one can do it better" kick... you just look silly when you say that. Preludeian 07-09-2004, 10:41 PM Umm, okay. Japanese drifters have been doing it for quite some time right? So wouldn't you think that someone with more time in would probably be a tad better then someone who is just getting into the sport, sport? And of course there are those that catch on quick and have the natural motion to get into a car and have the control it takes but IMHO those bimmers and thier drivers were nothing like the Japanese drivers and their Silvia's, Supras, Skylines, etc. that I've watched with my own eye's. And of course, as time goes by like anything in the auto world, others have a way of catching up and sometimes bypassing the originals. But, as for now I'll keep to what I see and read that the Japanese are still keeping the spotlight of drifting. And FYI, I do own a FR auto as well as my Prelude. It's no drift car, in fact it's a 4Runner. But an assumption like that has only made you look like the first three letters of that word put together my friend. bumpn lude 07-10-2004, 05:45 AM what the hell r u talking about!? sorry to everyone about preludian, not all prelude owners are this ignorant! :dunno: Preludeian 07-11-2004, 03:17 PM ^^ please enlighten me as to my ignorance fellow luder. nbw 07-15-2004, 10:41 PM Have you driven any bmw's pre? how about a silvia, skyline, supra, wrx? Have you ever gone drifting in any car? To say a bmw isnt that great of a drift car compared to the JDM cars you jizz over with out driving and drifting any of them, that would be ignorant. Someone who is a great drifter/driver in a silvia will most likely still be a great drifter/driver in a bmw. Last time I check BMW's where imports too :) OT: how do they judge who the better drifter is in a high skill level compitition where everyone drives near flawlessly? 4-THGENH24LUDE 01-29-2005, 10:12 PM oh my god are you guys seriously arguing about this? just let Preludian know he is a dumbass fo saying such things and be done with it. Cause technically you don't need a fr car to drift or falken wouldn't had invested so much time and effort into there Civic Hatch! FR cars might be easier to drift but spend enough money/have enough skill with a ff and you can get the same outcome. Preludian should had never started bad mouthing the bimmers, a bimmer can do it the same as american car or a jappanese vehicle. FF, FR, and AWD can all pull it off lets stop arguing about it we aren't a bunch of 17 yearolds in a pissing contest (cause I would win lol just kidding don't flip out cause I said that) lets all lighten up and have fun. oh yeah you have your right to an opinion just please don't bad mouth someone elses. p.s. sorry for any misspelled words vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
