95 JGC Overdrive light on at cold start

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Overdrive light on at cold startup. Help!
if there is any out there it would be very much appreciated. If the
light is on at startup then when I pull forward, it is as if I failed to
take off the emergency brake--much resistance. If I turn the engine
off once the light usually goes out and all if well. I am now at
$526.00 and the problem still exists--they replaced the governor
solenoid and a transduce pressure sensor. (Jeep Dealer). Any
thoughts would be most helpful, Thank you.
